Craps System and
Crap Strategy for the Beginner...
Restrict your Craps Betting Strategy to just these two 'most outstanding' craps wagers, and nothing more. Learn how to make a 'Pass Line Bet' and how to 'Place the 6 or 8'. Both of these wagers have house advantage of less than 1.5 percent, making them one of the best bets in the casino.
Stay away from all proposition bets in the center of the layout. The dealer's job description includes promoting their performance, but the truth is they are wagers that are all "house bets", carrying a casino advantage as high as 16%.
Next, learn how the 'Odds Wager' works, and never make a 'Line' or 'Come' bet that you are not willing to back up with full odds. If the table minimum is over your head so to speak, you should be playing craps at another table. Always bet with your head whether you're Playing land based Casino Craps or Craps Online, never over it.
A 'Pass Line Bet' with two 'Come Bets' is more than enough action for a gambling game as energetic as Craps. It doesn't matter if you are Playing Casino Craps in a land based Casino Hall, or Playing Craps Online, don't get so caught up in the game as to start throwing money at the dealers 'requested, house advantage, bets'.
Keep to the basic Craps Strategy as laid out above and you will have a much better chance of Winning at Craps!

Craps Strategies for the Seasoned Craps Shooter...
Craps Regression System of Betting...
With a Regression Craps System of Betting, wait until the craps shooter has made his point before placing bets. After the Point is made you will place two units or $12.00 on both the 6 and 8. After one hit, you will ask the craps Dealer to come down one unit on both the 6 & 8. You now have a $2.00 profit and can no longer get hurt by the Seven. In addition, you now have $12.00 working for you. After another hit, bring down all bets and wait for the craps shooter to make his or her point or 7 out, then start the process over.
Remember, there are ten combined ways to make a 6 and 8 and six combined ways for a seven... making this a Good Craps System of Play.
3 Point Molly Craps System of Betting...
In the 3 Point Molly Craps System, you will make a Pass Line Bet and two Come Bets. Make a Pass Line bet. Backup your Pass Line bet with single or double odds. Make a Come Line bet. Backup each Come Bet with single or double odds (two Come bets maximum). When one of your Come Bets wins, place another Come Bet. Continue this process until the craps shooter makes his or her Point or 7 out. Each time you make a Come Bet you are protecting your Pass Line bets and taking advantage of a hot roller.
Reno Reach Craps System of Betting...
I normally don't bet the pass line or don't pass line so I really don't care if the shooter makes the point or not. I just want to win a bet before that seven shows. I came up with a variation of the 7 method Craps System. I use it for 6 and 8 Place Bets, but you can use it for 5 and 9 or any other combination that you'd like.
You make a $6 place bet on the 6 and 8. You leave the bets working till one of them is hit. Then you take them down and wait for the end of the roll. After the next point is established you make 2 more place bets on the 6 and 8 and add 1 unit to the number that last won. For example: You start by making $6 place bets on the 6 and 8. The 6 is thrown, so you take both bets down and wait for the end of the roll. After the new point is established you would make a $12 six and a $6 eight place bet.
You would repeat the process every time you win a bet. You would need to win three or four times before you would recoup your initial $12 bet and start turning a profit.
This method is good for a choppy to semi hot craps table. One plus to this particular Craps System is that if you do reach the higher levels, your profit coming off the tables greatly increases with every win in relation to your initial $12 outlay. Also, if the craps table turns hot, you are already betting at a higher level and you can truly take advantage by letting the bets work for the life of the roll. The downside to this craps system, as with most craps systems, is an early seven.
Anything But Seven Craps System of Betting...
Don't place any bets on the Don't Pass or Pass Line, but wait until a point has been established. Place two units on 5, 6, and 8. Place one unit on the Field. This method is a little riskier than the previous craps strategies, since your total monetary risk is: $39.00. Therefore, it is suggested that you remove all bets from the craps table after three rolls.
Should the craps shooter hold the dice for at least three rolls, you will stand to win anything from $15.00-$27.00 (more if the numbers 2 or 12 are rolled). The average roller rolls the dice 5 times before rolling a 7.
Hundred Dollar Ho-down Craps System of Betting...
This Craps Betting System is a variation of the 'anything but 7' system. Wait for a point to be established and then place the 5 for $25, 6 and 8 for $30 and a $12 field bet (this comes to $97 which is ~$100... hence the name of the system). After the first hit (hopefully not a 7) you regress as follows:
- If a 5,6,8 hit: Reduce your 5,6,8 to $17 action ($5-5, $6-6, $6-8) and put $5 in the field (anything but 7 strategy from here on).
- If a 4,9,10,11 hit: Remove your $25-5 place bet and reduce the 6 and 8 to $6 each.
- If a 2 or 12 hit: Reduce your 5,6,8 to $17 action ($5-5, $6-6, $6-8) and put $5 in the field.
The 'Hundred Dollar Ho-down' Craps Betting System is another Craps Regression System. It is based on the idea of gambling with the casino's money. Starting with the original bets, will return you enough money to continue play with higher odds of winning. The advantage is that you can regress after ANY number other than 7 rather than waiting for a specific number to appear. After you've done the initial regression, you can press until your hearts' content without risking any of your own money. And if the seven eventually falls, you don't have to worry cause it wasn't your money anyway.
The only problem with this Craps System of Betting is the initial $100 bet but that's the reason we gamble right?
If you do the math, then you will see that you initially win 83% of the time (30/36...6 ways to make a 7, and 30 ways to roll ANY other number). It's up to you to decide whether or not that's a high enough percentage to gamble on. Run it through the simulators to watch it work!
No 4 or No 10 Craps System of Betting...
With this Craps System of Betting, you can make this bet and take it down at anytime. You can bet both the 4 and 10 at the same time. What you are doing is laying the odds (say $40) that a 7 will be thrown before a 4 or 10. This is a Good Craps Betting System, because it involves one of the better bets you can make. Notice on the table that there isn't any wording about this bet, unlike the large lettered field and come. It's so advantageous to the player that the casino charges you a 5% vig on the amount of money you'll win.
Give this Craps Betting System a try, by simply saying to the dealer that you want a No 4 for $40. You put down $41 ( 5% on a $20 win is $1 ) and the dealer will put your money in the don't come box above the 4. Now you hope a 7 is thrown before a 4.
A win with this craps system will pay $20. You can take the No 4 bet of
$40 down or pay another dollar and leave it up.
I like to make this bet after a 4 or 10 is thrown. Most shooters will 7
out after 4 rolls and it is less likely that they will throw a second 4
or 10 before a 7. I also follow how often the 4 and 10 are being thrown
at the tables. If a lot of 4's are coming up, I'll favor the 10.
This bet can be hedged with a bet on the hard 4 or 10. The downside to this particular craps system of betting is that you are risking twice as much money as you'll win. A 4 or 10 coming up before a 7 is a bankroll killer. This method is good on a choppy or cold table.
$22 Inside Regression - Don't Craps System of Betting...
In this Craps System of Betting, you bet $22 inside. $5 each on the 5 and 9, $6 each on the 6 and 8. Take down the first two hits. Then make two don't come bets, one at a time, with the next two hits. Do not press any bets. Let them run until you lose.
REASON: First two numbers that you take down will show a small profit. For example. The shooter throws a 6, you take it down with a $7 win. Then the shooter throws an 8. You take that down with a $7 win. Profit on the $22 risked is $4. With the two remaining numbers still working you can build up the bets you took down with two don't come bets. Now you have a hedge. This Craps Betting System is good for a choppy table to a cold table.
$22 Inside Regression - Build Craps System of Betting...
In this Craps Betting System, bet $22 inside. $5 each on the 5 and 9, $6 each on the 6 and 8. Take down the first two hits. Then replace those numbers you have taken down one at a time with the next two hits. Do not press any bets. Let them run until you lose.
REASON: First two numbers that you take down will show a small profit. For example. The shooter throws a 6, you take it down with a $7 win. Then the shooter throws an 8. You take that down with a $7 win. Profit on the $22 risked is $4. With the two remaining numbers still working you can build up the bets you took down till you have all the inside numbers covered again. This craps system or craps betting strategy is good for a choppy to hot table.
